Consumer Signatures

A few units play particularly important roles as the public face of UCLA. Their marketing needs dictate that they use shorter, more informal names. For that reason, we have provided a separate “consumer use” signature specification with a simplified hierarchy.

As of July 1, 2004, the units authorized to use the consumer signature are:

  • UCLA Arts
  • UCLA Extension
  • UCLA Library
  • UCLA Healthcare
  • UCLA Fowler Museum of Cultural History
  • UCLA Foundation
  • UCLA Alumni Association

Please note that the Dean of each unit will determine when (or if) to use the consumer signature in lieu of the academic signature.
